Conspiracy is everywhere!
CARACAS, Venezuela – President Hugo Chavez on Sunday said he believes enemies including the CIA are out to kill him, and called U.S. diplomat John Negroponte a “professional killer.” ~news.yahoo.com
Plots. Plots within plots. Indeed, why wouldn’t the Bush administration be almost entirely fixated on assassinating Hugo Chavez, the single most important person in the history of the planet?
Chavez said Venezuelan officials have intelligence that associates of jailed Cuban anti-communist militant Luis Posada Carriles also are involved in plotting to assassinate him.
He said the death plot idea has “gained weight” due to various factors, including the recent appointment of Negroponte, the former director of national intelligence, as deputy to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.
“Who did they swear in … there at the White House as deputy secretary of state? A professional killer: John Negroponte,” Chavez said. ~news.yahoo.com
It all makes perfect sense. The swearing in by Condi Rice proves that Negroponte is out to kill Chavez.
Seriously though, what is it that the lefties say about creating false threats to instill fear and an outside enemy to instill hatred?
Oh yes. Bush is the master, but perhaps Chavez is learning a few things from his capitalist master? As our friends the ardent socialists expound:
Bush uses lies, fear-mongering to defend war in Iraq, police state measures at home
In his nationally televised address from the White House Oval Office Sunday night, George W. Bush reprised the barefaced lies, distortions and appeals to fear and political backwardness that characterized the last such speech delivered by the US president, announcing the onset of the unprovoked US “shock and awe†onslaught against Iraq 33 months ago.
…These trappings of the speech, like Bush’s elaborate hand gestures, were all crafted by his political handlers with the aim of deceiving a portion of the public. The essential content of the address was the defense of an illegal war based upon lies and an attempt to intimidate those who oppose it. ~wsws.org
Deception and carefully crafted political speeches aimed at deceiving the public are the constant study of the left. Can we assume that this constant study has payed off?
