The left has fastened onto environmentalism because it is an excuse to further disarm the populace. By disarm I mean disarm them of their rights as human beings. Because the left posits that humans are some contagion which is destroying the planet, and like a cancer, needs to be excised from the holy earth in order to save it.
Global Warming is a politically driven scandal that will one day be be ranked right alongside eugenics as a discredited and shameful theory used to further the left’s political agenda.

i don’t think anyone has the write to to say global warming has been completely dicredited, you sound worse then al gore claiming scientific consesus. Aren’t you now using the opposing scientists as a tool to further your own anti-left agenda? discursive challenges is the only way our capitalist society can evolve. Noone can doubt that human civilization has left a damaging mark on the planet. Whether the claims have been exagerrated there still is truth behind it and surely with the ‘wise and sequential use’ model of environmental policy currently employed, it is time for some legitimate change.
