The reason this is biased is disclosure. What's wrong with democrats asking all the questions in a republican debate? Nothing. But how relevant is stacking the deck with dem questioners for republican voters. The republican primary is for republicans to make up their minds about the candidates not democrats. But the deception of pretending these are either supposed to be republicans or 'independent/undecided' voters reveals an entirely different possible motivation for CNN.

Either CNN meant for lots of stealth questioners to be hostile to the republican candidates (and to republicans in general as well) or they were duped and or too stupid to vet the questioners properly.

In addition, when we look at the dem debates and find the opposite situation happening where not only are there no hostile questioners but ample evidence of planted softball, flattering, and pre-prepared questions for the candidates were in evidence. It's a pattern of bias.

However, you two seem to be making an assumption based off of relatively little evidence. First, you are saying that CNN is biased because democrats asked republicans questions. Second, because CNN is biased, the entire main stream media must be biased as well. You then bring up some points such as how the democrats refused to go on Fox news, while the republicans went on CNN.

As to the first point, how is this biased? I personally believe that every candidate should field questions from every angle, friend or foe. Second, there is no reason to believe the "main stream media" has a bias from anything you have said. Third, you speak of how the democrats refused to go on Fox News. Would you think this similar or disimilar to how every republican candidate but McCain refused to speak to the NAACP?

Thanks to the internet though the people are seeing through this more and more. Those who called Fox Faux News scream bias themselves. As you said at least on Fox you know who is right and who is left. There aren't the games played by those at CNN or NBC or especially at MSNBC. These people long for the days where someone like Dan Rather could get away with making up news stories. They detest it that facts are now checked, which hurts their side far more than the Republicans. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of Republicans who are just nuts. Like building bridges to an Island in Alaska costing hundreds an hundreds of millions of dollars, yet not even wanted by the people there.
Little by little I am growing tired of the Republicans. Not so much as the Democrats, but to me it seems there isn't any conviction left in both parties and I see elections now as Libertarians see them. A choice between the lesser of two evils. I don know that the lesser never does seem to be the Republican, although every election I like them less and less.
Where this goes in 10 or 20 years, who is to say. I am among the many Americans out there who feels that all politicians are simply out of touch with the people.
