Kucinich meets Assad

The problem with liberals and the left is that they see no evil but America. And of course any enemy of ‘evil’ is a friend of the left:

US Democratic hopeful Kucinich meets Assad, blasts Bush

…Kucinich, who accused the Bush administration of policies that have destabilized the Mideast, met with Syrian President Bashar Assad during his visit to Damascus. He said Assad was receptive to his ideas of “strength through peace.”  ~jpost.com

Leftist filters locked down hard

Incredible. Or should I say, truly blind?

This may be the best example of not just selective truth but of an outright immobile worldview filter that will not allow any other ‘truth’ except that which is already believed. So much for leftist science. Even I imagined that someone who might call themselves a scientist (or perhaps it is a naive stretch to refer to the social sciences as ‘science’) would at least use evidence to lead them to a conclusion rather than the other way around. One American Tyranny

John Edwards, born-again Hugo Chavez wannabe, wants to heal the divisions between the two America’s by creating One American Tyranny. How? Through a universal healthscare nannystate where you are required to, “get preventative care.” Continue reading One American Tyranny

The bold, forward choice

The (siren) song remains the same. Whether it’s Two Americas or one Bolivarian revolution, the same belief system and broken logic (based on the marxist cult/religion) permeates socialist rhetoric worldwide. The bold forward future is one in which we ditch greedy and selfish capitalist society for one that is imbued with the power of togetherness and communal decision making, (which coincidentally requires total and complete government control over every aspect of life in order to ensure holy and blessed equality).

The choice we must make is as important as it is clear.

It is a choice between looking back and looking forward.

A choice between the way we’ve always done it and the way we could do it if we dared.

A choice between corporate power and the power of democracy.

Between a corrupt and corroded system and a government that works for us again.

It is caution versus courage. Old versus new. Calculation versus principle. ~johnedwards.com

Hugo Chavez talking about moving on to the next stage of 21st Century Socialism? or Democratic politician (John Edwards) talking about moving on to the next stage of 21st Century Socialism? Does it really matter? Continue reading The bold, forward choice

President-for-life

Hugo Chavez, President-for-life? For the good of the people, of course. Socialism is so confusing. In order for the people to have full equality someone always has to hold ALL the reigns of power.

CARACAS, Venezuela, Aug. 14 — President Hugo Chávez will unveil a project to change the Constitution on Wednesday that is expected to allow him to be re-elected indefinitely, a move that would enhance his authority to accelerate a socialist-inspired transformation of Venezuelan society. ~nytimes.com

Penn praises Chavez

Left is as left does, I always say.

Sean Penn applauded President Hugo Chavez as the Venezuelan leader lambasted the Bush administration and demanded an end to war in Iraq.

Chavez met privately with the 46-year-old actor for two hours Thursday, praising him as being “brave” for urging Americans to impeach President Bush.

“In the name of the peoples of the world, President Bush, withdraw the troops from Iraq. Enough already with so much genocide,” Chavez said before an auditorium packed with his red-clad supporters.  ~news.yahoo.com

Poverty Tour?

3 dollar Edwards

Possibly the lamest Democratic candidate for President… ever. John Edwards is as about as genuine as a three dollar bill. Perhaps he should hand them out at stops on his poverty tour?

Democratic presidential hopeful John Edwards launched his bid for the White House last December in New Orleans’ devastated Ninth Ward. Since then, the former North Carolina senator has pinned his campaign largely on ending poverty in America. This weekend, Edwards returns to New Orleans, where he will begin a 12-city tour through poor America. The journey mirrors the famous 1968 tour of impoverished areas by then-senator and presidential hopeful Robert F. Kennedy. ~npr.org

My contrarian senses tell me that the subconscious message of John, “The Future is Now,” Edwards’ poverty tour, ie the “Road to One America,” is that his ultimate goal is to promote poverty as the radical solution to the inherent inequality of the, “two America’s,” …as well as the devastating effect the overbearing capitalist over-consuming country is having on the globe by singlehandedly devastating the world with global warming.

War against the U.S.

There is a leftist war against the United States. A war that has been going on for some time and which we thought we had won. The ideological war is alive and well, the physical war will eventually manifest itself (as it did on 9/11). Continue reading War against the U.S.
