Digg bans conservatives

Something I already knew: Digg is a left-leaning site that is dominated and controlled by liberals who can’t stand any opposing views. Conservatives are not welcome.

Brandon Henak relates how he was banned from Digg:

Last week in our PoliTech section, I took Gop3.com’s readers through the Digg.com signup process, encouraged them to list their user names in the comments so they could easily find other conservatives, and demonstrated how they could see what other conservatives were digging. Liberals predictably got upset that I was doing this. It was only meant to facilitate the spread of news and allow people to share stories they like with other like-minded people, a mission that runs parallel to Digg’s, or so I thought.

Evidently, I committed a crime so egregious that I have been banned from Digg for it. ~gop3.com

2009: War crimes trials

Yet another salvo of hints for Bush administration war crimes trials. I’m sure the mainstream media is salivating for the chance to truly bury the Bush Administration under the stigma of war crimes trials.

Newsweek writes:

The Noose Tightens

Rumsfeld, Ashcroft and other top Bush officials could soon face legal jeopardy.

…top Bush administration officials could soon face legal jeopardy for prisoner abuse committed under their watch in the war on terror.  ~newsweek.com

Talk to two or three legal experts, who also happen to be left-wing communist agitators, and viola you have a piece of journalism fit for publication in Newsweek. Imagine that.

This entire article names two experts for their authoritative opinion:

‘Constitutional’ Expert #1: Burt Neuborn, director of far-left-wing Brennan Center.

Expert #2: Michael Ratner, another far-left-wing liberal. (Pacifica radio co-host. The station which practically worships Castro and Chavez.)

This is the basis of an objective story in Newsweek? Pure bias. Where’s the other side? Where is journalistic integrity? This is basically a ‘news’ story from Democracy Now or Pacifica Radio itself. It is basically copy-and-paste from the alternate reality of Communist underground newsletters.

The day the world changed?

Commemorative Obama Plate

Happy National Day of Atonement!

Yeah, it doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue but it’s politically correct enough for the new United States of Amerikkka. Which, after the change, I suspect will be known simply as The Peoples Republic of America, the USSA, or perhaps Obamastan, or even the country formerly known as the U.S. of A..

One indication of moral progress in the United States would be the replacement of Thanksgiving Day and its self-indulgent family feasting with a National Day of Atonement accompanied by a self-reflective collective fasting.

In fact, indigenous people have offered such a model; since 1970 they have marked the fourth Thursday of November as a Day of Mourning in a spiritual/political ceremony on Coles Hill overlooking Plymouth Rock, Mass., one of the early sites of the European invasion of the Americas.

Not only is the thought of such a change in this white-supremacist holiday impossible to imagine, but the very mention of the idea sends most Americans into apoplectic fits — which speaks volumes about our historical hypocrisy and its relation to the contemporary politics of empire in the United States.  ~alternet.org

This is the essence of radical leftist politics. A true picture of the kind of change and hope that Obama wishes to bring to our country? We’ll see. I suspect that Obama is too smart to actually promote his true beliefs in this manner. He seems to know that this kind of innate leftist hatred of everything American would make him into a pariah for all time. I suspect that he will try to hide his true beliefs and attempt to move the ball forward into the leftfield as far as he can during his presidency in an effort to create a better face for progressive leftists to use to call for more socialism.

Signs in the sky

It’s lucky for Islam that they chose the moon god for their diety. The crescent moon is something no one can change easily and when celestial events like this happen I’m sure that much can be made of it’s significance.

Starting Thanksgiving evening, Jupiter and Venus will begin moving closer so that by Sunday and Monday, they will appear 2 degrees apart, which is about a finger width held out at arm’s length, said Alan MacRobert, senior editor at Sky and Telescope magazine. Then on Monday night, they will be joined by a crescent moon right next to them, he said.

Look in the southwestern sky around twilight — no telescope or binoculars needed. The show will even be visible in cities if it’s a clear night. ~news.yahoo.com

The hapless appeasers are going to allow insulting the true religion of the moon god to be illegal.

Via Flopping Aces:

The United Nations saw another shred of its tattered dignity stripped away November 24, when a committee of the General Assembly approved what amounts to a direct assault on Western liberal democracy. In an 85-50 vote, with 42 abstaining, the so-called Third Committee adopted a resolution, submitted by a caucus of Islamic nations, to criminalize expressions deemed to be “defamation of religion,” with special concern for Islam. All U.N. member states would be called on to amend their criminal codes accordingly. The measure’s next stop is the General Assembly, where it is expected to win handily, probably in December. ~forward.com

Soon insulting of the true moon god will be safe from the profane infidels.

The New Liberal Order

The rebirth of liberalism: America’s ruling creed.

Forty years later, happy liberals mobbed Grant Park, invited by another mayor named Richard Daley, to celebrate Barack Obama’s election. This time the flags flew proudly at full mast, and the police were there to protect the crowd, not threaten it. Once again, Americans watched on television, and this time they didn’t seethe. They wept.

The distance between those two Grant Park scenes says a lot about how American liberalism fell, and why in the Obama era it could become — once again — America’s ruling creed. ~time.com

Once again America’s ruling creed? And why is that? With a candidate who ran on giving 95% of Americans tax cuts? The candidate Who will now turn around and raise their taxes instead?

The coalition that carried Obama to victory is every bit as sturdy as America’s last two dominant political coalitions: the ones that elected Franklin Roosevelt and Ronald Reagan. And the Obama majority is sturdy for one overriding reason: liberalism, which average Americans once associated with upheaval, now promises stability instead.

Yes, the stability of liberalism. I guess identity politics is over. Gay and lesbian activists aren’t threatening upheaval and violence.

Can liberalism bring economic security? Like the security of the 70′s. The security of government run economies all through history making us little more than serfs.

Bush war crimes trial… change?

Via Gateway pundit, the NY TImes has this piece on Democrats pursuing criminal probe and eventual war crimes trial against GW Bush. This is change.

“The Bush administration overstepped in its exertion of executive privilege, and may very well try to continue to shield information from the American people after it leaves office,” said Senator Sheldon Whitehouse, Democrat of Rhode Island, who sits on two committees, Judiciary and Intelligence, that are examining aspects of Mr. Bush’s policies.

Topics of open investigations include the harsh interrogation of detainees, the prosecution of former Gov. Don Siegelman of Alabama, secret legal memorandums from the Justice Department’s Office of Legal Counsel and the role of the former White House aides Karl Rove and Harriet E. Miers in the firing of federal prosecutors.

Mr. Bush has used his executive powers to block Congressional requests for executive branch documents and testimony from former aides. But investigators hope that the Obama administration will open the filing cabinets and withdraw assertions of executive privilege that Bush officials have invoked to keep from testifying.

“I intend to ensure that our outstanding subpoenas and document requests relating to the U.S. attorneys matter are enforced,” said Representative John Conyers Jr., Democrat of Michigan and chairman of the House Judiciary Committee. “I am hopeful that progress can be made with the coming of the new administration.”

Bringing the country together old skool commie style. Wack G’s like Stalin and Pol Pot knew how to unify a country and now we know that Democrats know how too.

The new civil rights activists

The scapegoats of the new progressive/liberal age will be christian conservatives. I predict incidents like this will rise as the radical left emulates their Islamist examples:

A gay anarchist group infiltrated the Mt. Hope Church in Eaton County Sunday morning, disrupting a service by pulling a fire alarm, dropping leaflets and yelling at parishioners, a pastor said.

The group, Bash Back, was simultaneously picketing outside the church, beating on buckets and using a megaphone to shout “Jesus was a homo” and other slogans as confused churchgoers continued to enter the building.

Members of Bash Back issued a press release Tuesday saying that it targeted Mt. Hope, a church that claims a flock of around 5,000, because it is, “complicit in the repression of queers in Michigan and beyond.”

According to the Myspace.com page of the Lansing chapter, the network initially sprung up with the intent of increasing homosexual visibility within the anarchist community.

The “action” began early Sunday morning at the Northstar Center on Lathrop Street in Lansing where a group of around 20 protesters gathered. Pink bandanas, signs, a rainbow-colored “Bash Back!” flag and a pink, wooden cross were distributed among about half the group — the “outside team.” The rest — “inside team” — were dressed in conservative clothes and carried Bibles and stacks of fliers, intending to blend in to the church‘s 11:30 a.m. “contemporary-laid back service.”  ~lansingcitypulse.com

Expect more intolerance against those labeled intolerant. They will of course be doing god’s work:

“We specialize in confronting homophobia, transphobia and every and all other forms of oppression,” the fliers read. “We strive for the liberation of all people.”

Don’t expect any punishment for this kind of harrasment. “No one was arrested at the church, and, Elieff said, as far as he knew, no arrests have been made.”
