Al Gore, Barack Obama, Dick Durbin, Nancy Pelosi, et al– they are all our saviours! Of course, how could I have been so blind? All this time I just thought they wanted to stomp all over my rights and direct every aspect of my life. But in reality, because of my flawed nature, they have been trying to redeem me and make me holy, just like them!

The joke is that instead of creating fairness and cooperation what the statists do is create cronyism and corruption by design.

Is it the  business of government to be in business? To partnership with some businesses in competition with other businesses? Can the government fairly regulate an industry in which they have invested taxpayer dollars with some of the players? Can they fairly investigate allegation of unfair trade or practices when they are in business with those businesses?

America Mired in Morass of Laws and Regulations

One nation, under too many laws

Wisdom knows now temporal boundaries.  Truth is truth today just as it was thousands of years ago. Why? Because men haven’t changed and the relationships of society and government haven’t changed. Modern government is no more perfect than ancient government. There is no less danger of tyranny today because we live in a progressive or later age; man is fallen, corruptible, fallible, and mistaken now as he ever was.

It’s painfully clear now that Global warming was nothing more than a vehicle for international socialism. This kind of scaremongering is what the discredited religion of collectivism has been reduced to. Logic and reason contradicts the warmist so they become more and more religious in their fervor to impose drastic change upon our society. A society they already deem evil and immoral. Capitalism is the target.

For two years now, I have been called ignorant, racist, angry and violent by the left. The very foul-mouthed protesters of Bush dare to now label my words as “hate speech.”

Last week, the left quickly blamed the right for the national tragedy of a shooting spree by a madman who never watched Fox News, never listened to Rush Limbaugh and likely did not know who Sarah Palin is.

Fortunately, the American public rejected out of hand that idiotic notion that the right was responsible.

Rather than apologize, the left wants to change the tone of the political debate.

The left suddenly wants civil discourse.
