Obama to raise taxes

We all know that raising taxes is a central plank of any democrat playbook. The rich must be punished for their evil capitalist ways after all.

In an interview in conjunction with his big economic speech in New York, Senator Obama tells CNBC’s Maria Bartiromo he favors increasing the capital-gains tax rate.

Bartiromo reported after her interview: “Right now, as you know, the cap gains tax is at 15 percent. He has yet to give us a specific number. How high he wants that number to go? He has said, and he told me today, that he won’t go above 28 percent. So we are talking about the possibility of a doubling in the capital gains tax. He was averaging at about 25 percent.” ~politico.com

73% savvy 2nd

Gallup poll says that 73% of the American public have sufficient reading comprehension to understand the second amendment another 20% are commie-libs who prefer a totalitarian socialist interpretation of the constitution:

PRINCETON, NJ — A solid majority of the U.S. public, 73%, believes the Second Amendment to the Constitution guarantees the rights of Americans to own guns. Twenty percent believe the amendment only guarantees the rights of state militia members to own guns. ~gallup.com

This 20% lines up perfectly with the amount of hardcore liberals in America who admire Hugo Chavez and his 21st century socialism: Sean Penn, Danny Glover, Code Pink and the like.

It’s not difficult to understand really:

A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

For Americans ‘mayday‘ is what you say when your ship is sinking. But everywhere else in the world it is also a communist holiday commemorating turn of the century riots in furtherance of Marxist revolution.

This is typical… stereotypical in fact:

Michelle Obama hasn’t been proud of America in at least 26 years?

That’s what she said today, if this quote is accurate.

“For the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country,” she told a Milwaukee crowd today, “because it feels like hope is making a comeback.” ~hotair.com

This is typical because liberals are not proud of America, in fact, liberals despise America and everything it has thus far stood for. Liberals are only proud of the future America they want to create, the one which is no longer recognizable as America, but is the anti-America.

Liberals are working toward creating the anti-America. Also called socialism. Yes, that is basically what she is saying when she says it, “feels like hope is making a comeback.”

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez urged his Latin American allies on Saturday to begin withdrawing billions of dollars in international reserves from U.S. banks, warning of a looming U.S. economic crisis.

What? Capitalism is finally about to collapse!

Chavez warned that U.S. “imperialism is entering into a crisis that can affect all of us” and said Latin America “will save itself alone.”

The CNN/YouTube ‘Republican’ debate was highly revealing. Revealing the blatant hypocrisy and bias of CNN in particular and of the entire Liberal MSM in general.

The debate, ostensibly for Republicans to examine their candidates, somehow had a slew of supporters, activists, and staff for the Obama, Hillary, and Edwards campaigns, you know, “undecided voters,” asking Republican candidates questions. He (Barak Hussein Obama) is running as a democrat after all.

WASHINGTON – Democrat Barack Obama said Sunday that if elected he will push to increase the amount of income that is taxed to provide monthly Social Security benefits.  ~news.yahoo.com

There is no tax that is not enough. Though this story is about an actual admission from a (D) candidate that he will raise taxes every (D) candidate will in fact raise any and all taxes they possibly can if they were to gain the highest office.

It’s almost as if they’re all saying that, “Raising taxes lifts all boats.”
