War in Sudan? Genocide in Darfur? Could be the fault of Islamists engaged in jihad. You know, the indiscrimnate slaughter and killing of christians and non-muslims in order to purge the land of unbelievers… uh, — OR — it could be the fault of,“climate change.” And we all know who’s mostly responsible for that.

MENLO PARK, Calif. — Democratic presidential hopeful John Edwards on Thursday called for a federal investigation into possible antitrust violations by the oil industry and criticized oil companies for raising gas prices.

It appears that serving the environmental movement’s radical agenda is not voluntary. It’s mandatory.

I’ve said this for some time and it bears repeating. I wonder if anyone else sees the irony when a newspaper runs a front page special on the dangers of global warming. I recall our local paper having periodic ‘specials’ warning us and outlining everything we MUST do in order to stave off destruction and yet cancelling newspaper subscriptions is never one of them. If you have a working intelligence, “Protesting the sun’s rising,” should sound like an ignorant statement. But then so should the phrase, “Thousands Protest Climate Change Across the Country.” –the title of an actual article.

Today, 1,400 actions are taking place in all 50 states in the country’s largest protest against global warming. ~alternet.org
