It appears that serving the environmental movement’s radical agenda is not voluntary. It’s mandatory.

The heartthrob has made a film, the 11th Hour, warning that human beings face extinction as a result of the environmental crisis.

At a press conference in the South of France following the screening, The Blood Diamond actor, 32, attacked US President George Bush, saying: “It’s very simple. He’s done very little for the environmental movement.” ~thelondonpaper.com

I just received an amazing email from a friend who demonstrates that Vanity Fair magazine is busily promoting global warming with a religious theme.

I’ve said this for some time and it bears repeating. I wonder if anyone else sees the irony when a newspaper runs a front page special on the dangers of global warming. I recall our local paper having periodic ‘specials’ warning us and outlining everything we MUST do in order to stave off destruction and yet cancelling newspaper subscriptions is never one of them. If you have a working intelligence, “Protesting the sun’s rising,” should sound like an ignorant statement. But then so should the phrase, “Thousands Protest Climate Change Across the Country.” –the title of an actual article.

Today, 1,400 actions are taking place in all 50 states in the country’s largest protest against global warming. ~alternet.org

The earth is in danger. So why do New York City liberals insist on destroying our planet?

(NEW YORK) —New York City produces nearly 1 percent of the nation’s greenhouse gas emissions — an amount that puts it on par with Ireland or Portugal — according to a city study.

…The study found that the buildings, subways, buses, cars and decomposition of waste in America’s most populous city produced a net emission of 58.3 million metric tons of greenhouse gases in 2005. The report said the city’s emissions “are currently as much as those of Ireland or Portugal.” ~time.com
