Cindy Sheehan’s grassroots

Anti-war protests you will never see on tv or anywhere else in the main stream media. But you can be sure that if a single KKK kook tried to march at a Republican event he would be the only image seen to represent that event. The following photo is from the recent, “popular uprising” against Bush’s imperial, immoral and illegal war: link via little green footballs.

Buying anti-war support

The “most ethical congress ever” unveils an anti-war bill that is basically all pork. Boy, it’s a good thing that Democrats were elected with a mandate to stop Bush’s immoral and illegal war –or else who knows how much pork Pelosi would have to put in this bill.

House Democratic leaders are offering billions in federal funds for lawmakers’ pet projects large and small to secure enough votes this week to pass an Iraq funding bill that would end the war next year. ~washingtonpost.com

War without end

Michael Barone aptly explains one of the most saddest political trends in American history: the left’s war against America. We see it today in full force. From the fringes of leftist-anarcho-communism it has risen to taken over the mainstream Democratic party. The leftist meme is a belief system that sees America, first and foremost, as the enemy. NPR: compare and contrast

Here’s two stories on NPR about the same event. One is about Cindy Sheehan and her crew and the other is about counter-protestors. Guess which one gets the devotion?

This one all but gushes… and I’m almost positive that they are misrepresenting, or even lying– I had no idea that Code Pink was made up of, “thousands of christians.” Continue reading NPR: compare and contrast

Democrats intensify demands for our surrender

No real news here. Democrats just continue to demand our immediate surrender in Iraq. I’m sure that Afghanistan is next on their list. (The Main Stream Media are already re-starting the body counts for the Afghan theater. There’s no telling when they’ll start using the word quagmire there again as well.) Continue reading Democrats intensify demands for our surrender

Victory and defeat in Iraq

Never in question. Except among the perfidious and faithless.

The surge is succeeding. Moqtada Al Sadr is in hiding and his militia rounded up. Insurgents are on the run. This is what Democrats call failure.

Their own plan in contrast is something else altogether. Unconcerned about the foregone conclusion in Iraq, Democrats see $$ dollar signs. The Pelosi/Murtha plan to ‘end the war’ by slow-bleeding the troops now has enticements for votes. We normally call this pork, but that would be the wrong term to describe Democrats. The eternal virgins, democrats claim to have never been touched by any sort of corruption, by definition they never engage in pork. Continue reading Victory and defeat in Iraq

Terrorists: innocent until proven guilty

‘Enhancing our reputation’ or enhancing our vulnerability? Democrats have a strange way of thinking about the world. As I’ve said many many times before, the progressive meme disables the brains of leftists. There’s got to be some explanation.

Even when our troops are kicking ass and taking names, Democrats are busy sabotaging all of their hard work.

KABUL (Reuters) – Afghan soldiers have captured a Taliban leader who tried to flee a security operation in the south dressed in a burqa, NATO said on Wednesday. ~today.reuters.com

Our soldiers capture the enemy, then Democrats want to let them go. Continue reading Terrorists: innocent until proven guilty

Impeachment watch

Chuck Hagel fronts for terrorists. At least it appears that he is speaking for them these days. Actually, Hagel is busy uttering the -I- word about Mr. Bush. (Impeachment.) To what end I know not.

“The president says, ‘I don’t care.’ He’s not accountable anymore,” Hagel says, measuring his words by the syllable and his syllables almost by the letter. “He’s not accountable anymore, which isn’t totally true. You can impeach him, and before this is over, you might see calls for his impeachment. I don’t know. It depends how this goes.” ~outsidethebeltway.com
