At this point we should be asking ourselves why we need a spy agency that leaks like a drunken sailor. (My apologies to Naval personnel.)

I realize that irony never takes a day off, but does the fact that as soon as the President signed a ‘secret’ approval to mount a covert’ operation against Iran that the CIA sent out press releases and called news organizations to broadcast that fact– does that make anyone question the ‘intelligence’ of this agency?

Overt Operatives

As an overt super special double secret agent I have to be careful how I handle my public persona. The damage that could be done through my own ignorance and insipid political arrogance is, indeed, great.

For instance, if I decided to use my position as a super special double secret agent to have my husband wife sent to a foreign country to ‘investigate’ claims which I already ‘know’ are false and want to ensure that whoever is sent comes back with exactly that conclusion, then I probably wouldn’t have my wife ‘go public’ in a big way with these conclusions and confront an administration I politically oppose… well, let’s just assume that NOT blowing my cover is the most important thing to me as a super special double secret agent, wouldn’t I want to avoid such a political battle?
